Winter wear is now necessary to survive Malaysia's cold office wastelands

PETALING JAYA: Cubicle dwellers are feeling the chill as plummeting air-conditioning (AC) temperatures have necessitated winter wear for survival.
They enter offices nearly fainting from the heat outside - and spend a glorious half hour reaching optimum temperature - only to find it too cold for comfort indoors.
While many office denizens refused to emerge from their mufflers, a brave few bared their throats to tell of their troubles.
In a move that may give some goosebumps, journalist Soosa La recommends chomping on mouth-numbing cili padi at regular intervals.
"I've lost nearly all sensation in my tongue, but at least I'm warm. And really skinny."
